THE INSPIRATION
THE PROJECT
I works with Sanctuary for Families to confront domestic violence in New York City's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community. Through a combination of education, legislative advocacy and direct legal services, I aim to address the underlying causes of domestic violence and secure the rights of LGBT survivors. BIOGRAPHY
Law school: | |
Surviving law school: | During law school I was fortunate enough to be surrounded by a dynamic community of students, professors and staff who truly believed in the law as an instrument for social change. My colleagues and I were driven more by a commitment to justice than a desire for profit. This commitment strengthened me through long study sessions, finals and even the bar exam. |
