Alumni
Those who join the Equal Justice Works community — as lawyers, law students, friends or staff members—are always considered part of the Equal Justice Works “family.” We encourage you to be an active member of our alumni community. There are several ways to remain connected to Equal Justice Works and to your colleagues around the nation. Here are a few easy ways to stay involved:
- Stay in touch with the Fellows and AmeriCorps Attorneys from your class. Update your contact information when you move.
- Check our website regularly for scheduled events or suggest holding a local event for Equal Justice Works lawyers, alumni, sponsors, host sites and friends.
- Attend local Equal Justice Works events.
- Represent Equal Justice Works in your community as an ambassador.
- Present information about Equal Justice Works and our Fellowship and AmeriCorps programs to local law schools and bar associations.
- Serve as a trainer or mentor for current Fellows and AmeriCorps Attorneys.
- Advocate for policies that promote justice and public interest law.
- Start or join a local Equal Justice Works alumni club.
- Assist Equal Justice Works with outreach and fundraising efforts.
