The purpose of this guide is to introduce you to the program and basic AmeriCorps responsibilities. This guide also includes important information on the AmeriCorps education award and loan forbearance policies. If you have questions about any of the AmeriCorps requirements, please bring them to your project director and/or supervisor. Equal Justice Works staff is also available to provide you with information, specifically on AmeriCorps education awards, loan forbearance and interest-accrual payments. In addition, Equal Justice Works staff is interested in learning how we can better support you with opportunities to network with other AmeriCorps Attorneys in the Pro Bono Legal Corps program (via conference calls or email lists) and by providing you with useful resources and information.
