Default Homeless Action Week

The Tommy Clinkenbeard Legal Clinic, a special project of Legal Services of Northern California in Sacramento, CA, is looking for law students to help during Homeless Action Week from March 22-28, 2010.

Student volunteers will be helping with Expungement Clinics and Prop 290 Know Your Rights presentations. Students will be trained during the beginning of the week and will be helping clients complete their expungement filings and giving advice for 290 registrants during the remainder of the week.

Additionally, students may have the opportunity to listen to Safe Ground presentations, listen to longtime homeless advocates speak about their experiences, and receive a tour of the local day shelter provider's campus.

We have the capacity to host up to 10 students. Students may are able to volunteer less than the full week if they so desire. Interested students should contact Chio Saephanh at csaephanh@lsnc.net or (916) 551-2189.
