IMPORTANT DATES

June 2 - September 14: Employer registration open; job and internship postings open
August 16 - September 19: Student registration and interview application open
September 21 - October 3: Employers view applications and choose interviewees
October 3 - October 10: Students accept or decline interviews
October 21 - 22: Equal Justice Works Conference and Career Fair

Registered employers can login to review their registration and interview schedules here.

*Each registration includes one six foot by 15 inch table, three chairs, and program book inclusion (for those registered by September 28). Please note that due to space limitations, we ask that you do not bring oversized banners, posters or other materials that may obstruct neighboring tables. For more specific details on space restrictions, please email careerfair@equaljusticeworks.org.

EMPLOYER SCHEDULE

Friday, October 21, 2011

  • Employers are encouraged to leave a break in their schedule in the morning. A formal break is not scheduled to allow employers flexibility.
  • There will be an optional educational debt relief presentation for all employers during the lunch hour.
  • Friday's schedule allows for 27, 20-minute interview slots if all are used, including optional time from 5 to 8 p.m.

*You are invited to a special luncheon.  This year Equal Justice Works is hosting a special luncheon just for interviewing employers.  The luncheon will feature a talk on the College Cost Reduction and Access Act for Employers (CCRAA).  Are your employees worried they won’t be able to repay their student loans?  This session will explain how your employees can benefit from the CCRAA, the most significant law affecting public service in a generation.  You will learn about Income-Based Repayment, Public Service Loan Forgiveness and other loan repayment assistance programs that are applicable to anyone working in public service (not just lawyers!).  Lunch registration details will be sent directly to registered employers.

Cancellation Policy

Employers may cancel their registration for the Equal Justice Works 2011 Conference and Career Fair by Monday, September 19, 2011 for a 50% refund.  After September 19, there will be no refunds.  Cancellation requests should be sent to careerfair@equaljusticeworks.org.
