The Project

Jennifer sought to address the pressing needs of non-citizens detained by U.S. immigration authorities in Southern California who, because of psychiatric and developmental disabilities, regularly endure abuse and neglect in detention while also being denied due process in their removal proceedings. Through direct representation, impact litigation, and pro bono recruitment efforts, Jennifer worked to enforce and expand the fundamental rights of non-citizens with disabilities.
