Equal Justice Works to Honor Randal S. Milch of Verizon at Annual Dinner

What: Randal S. Milch, Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Verizon, will receive the Scales of Justice Award at the Equal Justice Works 2012 Annual Dinner on October 25.  Milch is being recognized for his commitment to promoting equality, justice, diversity, public service and pro bono activities.  One of the largest gatherings of public interest law supporters in the country, the event raises funds for Equal Justice Works projects and programs. 

Serving as co-chairs for this year’s event are: César L. Alvarez, Executive Chairman, Greenberg Traurig, LLP; William P. Cook, Partner, DLA Piper; Teresa Wynn Roseborough, Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, The Home Depot; and Bruce. E. Yannett, Partner, Debevoise & Plimpton LLP.

Founded in 1986, Equal Justice Works is a national nonprofit organization working to mobilize the next generation of lawyers committed to equal justice.  Through its programs and initiatives, Equal Justice Works strives to inspire and provide opportunities for the legal community to change lives, create careers, and deliver on the promise of equal justice for all.
