The Project

Represent Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) in Immigration Court proceedings. Screen, advise, educate and connect immigrant children as they move through the court system.

The Inspiration

Need Addressed By Project
Provide free statewide legal representation for certain children who are currently in removal proceedings in immigration court, helping them explore what forms of immigration relief, if any, they qualify for.
The Right Person For This Project
Kimberley is the right person for the project because:
• She has always worked with marginalized and underserved communities with a focus on immigrant or Spanish-speaking clients
• She worked in Child Protection for over fifteen years
• She was also a volunteer & contract attorney, as well as a solo practitioner, in immigration law
• Her passion is to work with children and advocate for their needs and any human rights related issues
