The Inspiration

Need Addressed By Project
This project aims to work specifically with Tenants and Tenant organizations of eligible HUD Maryland RAD properties.

Additionally, this project aims to: 1) Build capacity of Tenants and Tenant organizations by: Developing and strengthening their knowledge of their rights in regards to being a tenant , and/or part of a tenant organization in a RAD property; Developing their understanding of how to address their needs and concerns to HUD and/or Owners/Management; Strengthening Tenant organizations through leadership development, and providing resources; and Providing Legal Aid. 2) Assist the Tenant and Tenant organizations during/after the RAD conversion process, in addressing their concerns to HUD and/or Owners/Management. 3) Improve the relationship between: Tenants/Tenant organizations and HUD and/or Owners/Management.
