Three Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps Attorneys are addressing two specific and distinct community needs: 1) Staffing of PLC's Community Organizations Legal Assistance Project (COLAP), which mobilizes law students and transactional lawyers to provide legal services to Orange County nonprofit organizations and those wanting to form one; and 2) Staffing of our Community Legal Clinic Project, which mobilizes law students and lawyer volunteers to provide immigration and family law assistance at legal clinics that primarily serve Orange County's large Latino population.
