Associate Director

Andrea Wood is an associate director in the Fellowships unit at Equal Justice Works.

Prior to joining Equal Justice Works, Andrea practiced law in Atlanta, Georgia. She served as a board member of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers Foundation and as a member of the Advisory Committee of the Barton Child Law and Policy Center. Focused on public interest law throughout law school, Andrea was a board member of the Emory Public Interest Committee (EPIC) and spent her summers at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia and the Georgia Capital Defender. Prior to law school, Andrea worked in development at a nonprofit legal services organization in Atlanta.

Andrea received her B.A. in History, cum laude, from Davidson College, and her J.D., with Honors, from Emory University School of Law, where she was an articles editor for the Emory Law Journal.
