Chandra Pickett

Administrative Assistant

Chandra Pickett is an administrative assistant in the Administration unit at Equal Justice Works.

Chandra, a Native Washingtonian born and raised on Capitol Hill, a Trinity Washington University alumnus, utilizing a variety of techniques and skills with over 10 years of public service in nonprofit, education, Human Resources, and in the public healthcare industry. Chandra has extensive training and work in community mental health settings, school social work, inpatient/outpatient psychiatric facilities, child and family agencies, community health, and private practices.

As a mental health advocate, Chandra promotes human rights of persons with mental disorders to reduce stigma and discrimination around mental health care services provided for generations to come. Within her advocacy, Chandra works with children, adolescents, and senior citizens to utilize their strengths to help them sort out their challenges and achieve their goals.

Outside of work, Chandra enjoys sewing, biking, and gardening.
