Human Resources Director

Hana is the human resources director in the Administration unit at Equal Justice Works.

Hana originally came to Equal Justice Works as a contractor and part of the Marcum team. She worked with Equal Justice Works for four years as an HR Manager, creating many of the HR processes we continue to use today before leaving to become an HR Director in a for-profit organization of seventy-five people.

Prior to that, she was in the aviation industry, where she was responsible for leading all aspects of the HR function. She worked with C-levels and the leadership team to drive culture enhancements, build the HR function, develop policies and procedures, manage budgets, and create compensation and benefit plans.

Throughout her Human Resources career, Hana has handled all aspects of the employee life cycle. Hana has a proven track record in resource management, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compliance, benefits administration, Human Resources assessments, mergers/acquisitions, and payroll.

Hana’s knowledge in all facets of Human Resources has allowed her to effectively support a diverse portfolio of organizations and leadership with their day-to-day Human Resources functions and serve as a point of contact for employees and advisor to Senior Management. Her passion for Human Resources drives her commitment to be an expert at streamlining processes and creating efficiencies in the employee life cycle. She has lived in multiple countries and brings the knowledge and skill to work effectively across differences and cultures. Hana has a Bachelor of Science and majored in Industrial and Organizational Psychology with a minor in Applied Psychology.

Given her knowledge of HR programs at Equal Justice Works, she plans to immediately hit the ground running to enhance and develop programs that will support all employees and the overall mission of Equal Justice Works.
