
Jill Robinson
Associate Director of Private Giving
Jill Robinson (she/her/hers) is the associate director of private giving at Equal Justice Works.
Prior to joining the Institutional Advancement unit, Jill spent several years as a member of the Fellowships unit at Equal Justice Works. In her previous roles, Jill worked cross-functionally to expand the Design-Your-Own Fellowship program and grow its community of supporters. She brings more than eight years of experience as a development professional with extensive knowledge in campaign planning and execution.
A native of the greater Boston area, Jill joined Equal Justice Works from Harvard University where she worked as a staff assistant and donor relations writer in the University Development Office. While at Harvard, she collaborated with colleagues across the various schools to steward major donors to the Harvard Capital Campaign and staffed dozens of alumni engagement and donor recognition events.
In 2017, Jill spent a year serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA with the Oregon Health Authority’s Child & Family Behavioral Health Unit. Her project focused on establishing a formal advocacy organization for parents and caregivers of children with complex health needs to elevate those voices to a statewide policy level. She also worked on implementing parts of the Youth Suicide Intervention and Prevention Plan passed by the Oregon Legislative Assembly, which included drafting a youth suicide support guide to distribute in emergency rooms throughout the state.
Jill holds a B.A. in Women’s and Gender Studies from Georgetown University.
