Jule Miller
Talent Acquisition Manager
Jule Miller is the talent acquisition manager in the administration unit at Equal Justice Works.
Jule’s professional journey has been shaped by her commitment to making a difference through transforming and energizing organizations’ most important intangible asset—their people. This commitment, combined with the potential to contribute to EJW’s investment to organizational wellbeing through talent acquisition, is what drew her to the position.
She brings a uniquely diverse background in start-up, small-to-medium, nonprofit, and for-profit organizations, and demonstrated success in managing strategic talent acquisition and workforce planning initiatives. Most recently, she has served in a consulting capacity with EJW as a senior HR generalist. In this role, she fulfilled a wide-ranging set of HR needs from hiring and onboarding a significant influx of new employees, supporting talent retention and engagement efforts, to offboarding.
Jule’s role will be dedicated to finding the right candidates to staff Equal Justice Works, which in today’s competitive job market can be a challenge without a dedicated resource proactively focused on securing and supporting the retention of top talent. Jule will bring creative ways to source talent by navigating the marketplace, developing rapport with potential staff members, creating genuine connections with potential diverse candidates proactively rather than reactively so EJW can ultimately hire the best talent, reducing the need for search firms or consultant support.
Jule will also focus on the training of managers by developing a hiring manager tool kit to support hiring managers with the hiring process and provide training in areas such as unconscious bias. She will continue to refine EJW’s onboarding process, focused on the retaining staff and generating ideas that will enhance our workplace.
Jule holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and Russian from Colorado State University–Pueblo.
