Seb Nazary is the senior grants manager for public programs at Equal Justice Works, where he is responsible for a portfolio of federally-funded as well as private philanthropic organization sponsored programs. He is also responsible for designing systems and processes that streamline fund management in compliance with the Federal Acquisition and Assistance rules and regulations.
Prior to joining Equal Justice Works, Seb managed a mix portfolio of funds of over $33 million for international nonprofit organizations CARE International, Development Alternatives, Inc., Creative Associate International, Social Finance, Inc., and the Boulder Institute of Microfinance, where he was responsible for pre-award, post-award and implementation management of large- and medium-scale grants aimed at improving good governance, community economic development, capacity building, economic growth and local stability. These programs were funded by several donor agencies including the United States Agency for International Development, United States Department of Education, United States Housing and Urban Development, Master Card Foundation and many more.
Seb is a Fulbright scholar and holds a M.A. in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis International Business School and a B.A. in Economics from Kabul University.
