Shayna Foxworth

Shayna Foxworth (she/her/hers) is a program coordinator at Equal Justice Works, where she supports the Disaster Resilience Program.

Shayna joins Equal Justice Works from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina, where she served as the Student & Young Alumni Program Coordinator. In this role, Shayna established six Young Alumni Councils, produced numerous highly anticipated campus events, created intentional partnerships with community organizations, and assisted in the flourishing programming and membership of three student organizations. Prior to this position, Shayna served as the AmeriCorps VISTA with South Carolina Campus Compact, where she acted as a change agent for social justice. She empowered communities, leveraged institutional resources, and built a better capacity for sustainable social change.

Shayna obtained her undergraduate degree in Business Administration and a master’s of liberal arts, with an emphasis in political and civic engagement from Winthrop University.
