The Project

Adam focused on the preservation of affordable housing. As affordability restrictions connected to federal subsidies expire, increasing numbers of private owners have incentives to increase rents, which threatens to displace low-income tenants from decent housing. In response to this threat, Adam monitored housing at risk, enforced the rights of residents, advised nonprofit organizations involved with affordable housing, and promoted practices that encourage preservation.
