The Project

My project provides legal representation to individuals and groups seeking to preserve their housing in Hancock County, Mississippi, a more rural area of the Gulf Coast that has been relatively under-served since Hurricane Katrina struck. With subsequent damage in Hurricane Gustav in fall 2008, the need for safe and affordable housing in this area is even more significant.
