The Project

Anwesha Sarkar represented UAC’s in immigration court and helped them gain status in the United States. If there is no relief available, Anwesha asked for voluntary departure. There are hundreds of immigrants who are escaping the situation in Central Americas only to be deported back into the same situation. Anwesha’s program ensured that all possible relief options were investigated for her clients.

Fellowship Highlights

Anwesha Sarkar helped one of her clients gain prosecutorial discretion.
