The Project

My project seeks to eliminate language barriers at government enforcement agencies for New Jersey's limited English proficient, Asian workers. Limited proficiency in English coupled with a lack of translated materials and services informing workers of their employment rights often allows unscrupulous employers to exploit these workers. Through a language access campaign employing litigation, community organizing, media advocacy and policy efforts, my project hopes to improve and secure access to justice for this community.
