Ashilee’s Fellowship addresses the needs of victims of campus sexual assault. The Fellowship will identify and address both the legal and non-legal needs of the victims. Further, the project will address community outreach and educate campuses about the needs of the victims of campus sexual assault. To achieve this goal, the program will conduct various community outreach events with the goal of educating the community about campus sexual assault and the needs of the victims. Further, the project will work to identify the needs of victims of campus sexual assault and develop a network of individuals and agencies to address those needs.
Ashilee is the excited and prepared for this Fellowship because she has always been passionate about working with victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Survivors of domestic violence have unique legal needs and she believes she is capable of helping them address those needs. Ashilee is also comfortable speaking in front of groups of people, which is necessary to train the community on the needs of victims.
