The Project

Fellowship Highlights

During her Fellowship, Camille:

  •  Incorporated four community-owned farms, increasing access to healthy food and local jobs.
  •  Raised over $1,000,000 for infrastructure funding in rural, low-income communities of color.
  • In partnership with her sponsors, OneJustice and Equal Justice Works, organized a Justice Bus trip from the Bay Area to the Valley to provide transactional pro bono assistance to her clients. This Justice Bus® trip and other pro bono efforts resulted in the provision of over 800 hours of pro bono services for community organizations.
  • Worked with state and local governments to cultivate local financing strategies.
  • Created resources in English and Spanish for starting worker coops in rural communities.
