The Project

Diego helped give low income teen mothers and fathers a voice in court by providing them with legal advocacy and outreach in the areas of family and immigration law.

What’s Next?

After his Fellowship, Diego went on to serve as pro bono director for The Alliance for Children’s Rights, while simultaneously serving as program director for the agency’s Probate Legal Guardianship program. Diego is now the vice president of legal programs at Bet Tzedek. In this role, he is responsible for engaging in program oversight, project design and development, and helping define and implement the agency’s various litigation and policy strategies.  He also serves as the directing attorney for the agency’s Small Business Development Project. He has focused his legal career on addressing issues of access to justice. He also serves as a member of OneJustice’s Board of Directors.
