The Project

Provide pro bono legal services to disabled and homeless veterans.

The Inspiration

Need Addressed By Project

The project works to prevent homelessness in the veteran community by providing essential services to veterans in areas including, but not limited to, VA Service- Connected Compensation, VA Non-Service Related Pension, Supplemental Security Income, Social Security Disability Insurance claims, Evictions, Immigration, Public Benefits, and other related matters, where appropriate.

The Right Person For This Project

Erin is the right person for the project because:
• She is dedicated to public service and advocating for social justice
• She has nearly two years of experience working with veterans, beginning with her participation in the Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps JD program
• Throughout law school she interned with the University of Miami Health Rights Clinic in a medical-legal partnership
