The Project

Some of the unaccompanied immigrant children in San Francisco need legal assistance to enter the foster care system. Almost all of them require education advocacy and immigration assistance. Hayley’s project provided education, immigration, and dependency advocacy for these youth. Additionally, Hayley represented them in individual cases, created bilingual “know your rights” pamphlets regarding issues that frequently arise with unaccompanied minors, and provided outreach and trainings.
