The Project

Despite a number of laws in place to negotiate housing problems, many of the poorer tenant’s living in Richmond and Petersburg don’t know how these laws work. Justin will provide direct representation to low-income tenants facing eviction or other adverse housing actions. His Fellowship will help strengthen the long-term capacity of Central Virginia Legal Aid Society to administer services for clients who are experiencing housing instability. Part of his project will also include setting up and attending educational lectures in communities around the Richmond and Petersburg area.
