The Project

Kathryn capitalized on recent amendments to the California Rules of Court, which provide an innovative mechanism for attorneys to address children’s education needs at every step of the court processes. Because children in LA’s Pico Union community are exceptionally at-risk for abuse, neglect, and juvenile crime, Kathryn advocated to ensure the amendments are used to improve their particular educational outcomes. Additionally, Kathryn collaborated with social service providers to empower youth and families to achieve long-term success and stability.
