The Project

Represent unaccompanied children under the age of 18 years of age and younger in removal proceedings.

Children who journey by themselves to the U.S. are not provided public defenders when they are facing deportation back to the dangerous countries that they fled. The Justice AmeriCorps Program provides more of those children counsel in order to better their chances of staying.
