The Project

As an Equal Justice Works Fellow, Mary developed the Tennessee Taxpayer Project (TTP), a taxpayer education and representation program for low-income families. Under Mary’s guidance, the TTP remains in operation at the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands, and has provided $28 million+ in financial benefits to 4,000+ taxpayers.
