The Project

The “Accidental Death Penalty” is a term that describes the deplorable conditions in Texas jails, prisons and detention centers, that kill hundreds of prisoners each year. I strive to end the gross indifference, isolation and silence that cause the Accidental Death Penalty. I will offer outreach and education to the detained about their rights to health and safety as well as work to create better safeguards and security in Texas prisons.
