The Project

My project will fill a critical need for detained, refugee youth in deportation proceedings in Massachusetts. I will provide community legal education to young refugees regarding the risks of non-citizen status and avenues for asserting their legal rights. I will also represent those detained refugees facing deportation as well as provide re-entry assistance to those young refugees who are released from detention, helping to ensure they can avoid deportation in the future.
