The Project

Sirrah re-vitalized and expanded the Workers’ Rights Project and Lenox Hill Neighborhood Housewill which will help low-income workers achieve and maintain economic self-sufficiency by providing legal assistance on issues related to employment through direct representation, counseling and community education. I will also be focusing on issues such as food stamp benefits; access to health care, such as Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance; and housing, particularly with eviction prevention and housing quality standards.
