The Project
Carly provided direct representation to at-risk and homeless veterans and military families in landlord tenant matters, problems with disability and other income maintenance benefits, child support, consumer and medical debt, drivers’ license reinstatement, and expungement issues. And, Carly connected with organizations and agencies that serve veterans in the community to develop an outreach program and facilitate referrals.
The Project
Providing civil legal aid to indigent veterans.
Veterans who are indigent, disabled, or elderly are often unable to secure legal representation, leading many of them to lose important rights and benefits. This project provides free legal services to veterans in the areas of family, consumer, housing, elder, and public benefits law.
The Project
Assist elder victims of crime, fraud, abuse, neglect, and exploitation to resolve their legal issues and attain holistic relief by the provision of legal services, advice, and counsel utilizing multidisciplinary partnerships and approaches.
The needs addressed by this project include domestic violence/abuse, Wills, POA’s, fraud and consumer issues, landlord-tenant issues, domestic affairs related to cases of abuse, public benefit appeals where wrongfully withheld, Guardianships/Conservatorships modifications and other assorted legal issues.
