The Project
Public Law Center’s Veterans Legal Corps provides legal services to low-income Orange County Veterans; prevents homelessness by defending against evictions; helps veterans secure or increase government benefits by acting as a proponent for VA disability, SSDI/SSI, and discharge upgrades; increases opportunities for employment by obtaining expungements of criminal records; staffs, coordinates, and supervises legal clinics on a variety of legal issues that affect veterans; oversees case referrals and supports pro bono attorneys; and conducts community education presentations to veteran clients and service providers.
