The Project

Zoe provided holistic legal representation to immigrants in the South Bronx, with the goal of ensuring family unity. For immigrant parents, family court proceedings are closely intertwined with their status. Such proceedings represent a traumatic event for any family, but an immigrant parent also faces the threat of deportation. To represent these clients effectively, Zoe combined the defense of immigrant parents in family court with consultation in immigration matters.
