2025 Design-Your-Own Fellowship Sponsor Preferences

Back to main page

Equal Justice Works’ Design-Your-Own Fellowship program sponsors have expressed interest in the geographic and issue areas below. The below list is neither exhaustive nor final; new sponsor preferences will be added periodically in the months and weeks preceding the application deadline of September 10, 2024.

Please note that many preferences will not be known until the application deadline has passed, as Equal Justice Works’ sponsors come on-board throughout the Fellowship selection process.

Equal Justice Works encourages projects and applications in ALL geographic and issue areas from applicants who have a passion for pursuing our nation’s promise of equal justice for all. We look forward to seeing projects that address the needs of the community you plan to serve.

As of August 14, 2024. States marked with an asterisk (*) are currently high priority. Issue areas are listed alphabetically by state but are otherwise in no particular order.
