2026 Equal Justice Works Fellow Summit
October 21-23, 2026 in Washington, D.C.
Equal Justice Works believes that a community of lawyers committed to public service can fulfill our nation’s promise of equal justice for all. As a Fellow, you are a vital part of that community.
The Equal Justice Works Fellow Summit is a cornerstone of the broader Fellow Learning & Networking Program, designed to support your growth, connection, and impact throughout your Fellowship.
For four decades, this annual convening (formerly Leadership Development Training) has brought Equal Justice Works Fellows together to learn, connect, and grow as advocates in their communities. As Equal Justice Works celebrates 40 years of putting justice into motion, we are thrilled to introduce a new name for this annual event: the Equal Justice Works Fellow Summit—reflecting the continued evolution and impact of this experience.
Building on what has made past convenings meaningful, the Summit creates space for meaningful connection, shared learning, reflection, and long-term engagement across the Equal Justice Works Fellowship network.
This year’s Fellow Summit takes place in Washington, D.C. from October 21-23, 2026. We will welcome nearly 150 Fellows, plus members of our alumni community and other justice leaders—a diverse mix of lawyers, advocates, and changemakers with the shared goal of equity through systemic change.
