Equal Justice Works Welcomes Kristin Robinson to Leadership Team

Kristin Robinson to serve as vice president of institutional advancement, leading  Equal Justice Works full range of fundraising activities

WASHINGTON, D.C., MARCH 20, 2018 — Equal Justice Works, the nation’s largest facilitator of opportunities in public interest law, today announced that Kristin Robinson has joined the organization’s leadership team as its vice president of institutional advancement.

As vice president of institutional advancement, Kristin will be responsible for designing and executing the overall fundraising strategy for the organization. She will manage the institutional advancement staff and direct a full range of development efforts, including major gifts, foundation grants, planned giving, and special events.

“We are pleased to welcome Kristin to the Leadership Team,” said Equal Justice Works executive director David Stern. “She is a tremendously skilled strategist, fundraiser, and leader whose valuable experience in the legal community will help Equal Justice Works reach new levels of success in its development efforts.”

With more than two decades of nonprofit management and development experience, Kristin most recently served as vice president of institutional advancement at the Aspen Institute, where she was the central point of contact for philanthropic relationships. Prior to this role, Kristin spent more than 15 years as vice president of the National Women’s Law Center. She has also led development efforts for leading nonprofits including the J. Craig Venter Science Foundation, the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, and the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence.

Kristin earned a M.A. from Georgetown University and a B.A. from Vanderbilt University.
