Lakeshia is a seasoned executive assistant with 19 years of dedicated service in the non-profit sector, and her professional journey reflects an unwavering commitment to supporting non-profits in the execution of their missions. Most recently, Lakeshia served as executive assistant to the president and CEO and senior specialist, global operations, at Winrock International, a recognized leader in U.S. and international development with a focus on increasing economic opportunity, and sustaining natural resources. Prior to that, she served as executive assistant to the president and CEO at the United Way National Capital Area.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Lakeshia describes herself as an avid traveler, exploring new cultures and broadening her horizons. She is equally passionate about giving back to her community and has actively engaged in various volunteer initiatives. Her nurturing spirit extends to her personal life, where she cherishes her role as the primary caregiver for her beloved niece. Lakeshia received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Kaplan University and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role.
