Molly Giguiere is one of our current law students on the Equal Justice Works Board of Directors.

Giguiere graduated from George Washington University with a degree in International Affairs, with a concentration in Global Public Health. While in her undergraduate studies, Giguiere honed her advocacy and policy skills by working with the Climate Speakers Network at Climate Reality Project, working with Napa’s Measure C campaign and national nonprofit Let America Vote, and interning for the office of Congressman Mike Thompson.  In her junior year, she spent the year in Barcelona. There, she worked on the transcultural psychiatric project at Vall D’Hebron Hospital, researching how to increase cultural competence in medical professionals working with refugees and vulnerable migrants.

Currently, Giguiere is attending the University of San Francisco School of Law. There, she serves as the president of the Women’s Law Association, the Social Media Chair for the Public Interest Law Foundation, an Events Coordinator for the Disability Rights and Advocacy Student Association, a Moot Court competitor, and is in the International Human Rights Clinic working to uplift the advocacy of Afghan women human rights defenders. During her 1L summer, she was an Equal Justice Works Fellow in the Disaster Resilience Program, where she worked with Disability Rights California to address the needs of people with disabilities concerning natural disasters in California.
