Program Manager

Touri Goode is a program manager at Equal Justice Works.

In this role, Touri helps plan and oversee post-graduate legal Fellowship programs at Equal Justice Works, primarily the Crime Victims Advocacy Program. Touri’s responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operations of each program lifecycle to ensure successful start-up, coordination, implementation, delivery of program activities, and program completion.

Touri first joined the Fellowships unit at Equal Justice Works in 2021 as a program coordinator before being promoted to program specialist the following year. As the program specialist, she provided a wide range of specialized program support to management, participants, and stakeholders in cohort Fellowship programs—specifically, in the Housing Justice Program.

Prior to joining Equal Justice Works, Touri served as a project coordinator and researcher at the Virginia Commonwealth University College of Engineering, where she identified existing tech education opportunities and created stronger linkages within Central Virginia. Touri is passionate about working in public service to impact communities through programs designed to provide inclusivity and justice for everyone.
