Equal Justice Works Career Fair

Information for Employers

The Equal Justice Works Career Fair is the largest national public interest legal career fair, bringing together more than 250 public interest employers and over 2,500 dedicated law students and graduates under one virtual roof. It's the one-stop shop for all your recruitment needs.

Registration

This virtual hiring event will allow you to recruit for internships, externships, postgraduate positions, etc. You can opt-in to host prescheduled interviews and/or participate in more informal “table talk” discussions with 1Ls, 2Ls, 3Ls, LLMs, and recent graduates. All event activities will take place in or be accessible via our Flo Recruit career fair database. Employer early bird registration will open on June 8 at 10:00 a.m. ET. Standard registration rates will go into effect on August 10.

You will register for this year’s event via Eventbrite (registration link below). You will then receive a separate email containing your organization’s Flo Recruit login details (by Friday, June 30 at the latest). Once you have received your login details, you will be able to access your company’s Flo Recruit profile and begin posting your available positions.

Please note: All deadlines referenced are in Eastern Time (ET).

Prescheduled Interviews
Employers interested in interviewing candidates for specific positions will post their jobs on our career fair database in advance of the event and will pre-select which candidates they would like to speak with during the career fair. This year, interviews will be 20 minutes with a 10-minute break between each interview.

Please note: These interviews will take place during the Career Fair. Given our specific event-related deadlines, applicants cannot be interviewed prior to the event.

Employers conducting prescheduled interviews will also be expected to participate in our mandatory “table talk” sessions on the date(s) in which they are registered to participate in the event. These sessions will occur on Thursday, October 12 and Friday, October 13 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. ET, and on Saturday, October 14 from 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. ET. Prescheduled interviews will not take place during these times. Employers can use these opportunities to meet with attendees one-on-one or conduct informational sessions with multiple attendees at once. Law students will be required to sign up for these opportunities in advance on the event.

Table Talk-Only Opportunities
Employers who are interested in participating in the career fair, but do not necessarily have any available job openings at the time of the event, are welcome to attend as a “Table Talk-Only” employer and speak with law students on a more informal first-come, first-served basis. Employers can use these meetings to speak with attendees about specific opportunities within their organization, or as informational sessions. They will have the option to speak with attendees one-on-one or with multiple attendees at once.
