Information for Employers

The Equal Justice Works Conference and Career Fair is the largest national public interest legal career fair, with more than 200 public interest employers and 1,500 dedicated law students and graduates from over 160 law schools—all under one roof. Why would you go anywhere else for your recruitment needs?

Registration

Early-bird employer registration for the 2021 Conference and Career Fair will open on Monday, May 17. This three-day virtual hiring event will allow you to recruit for internships, externships, postgraduate positions, etc. You can opt-in to host prescheduled interviews and/or participate in more informal “Table Talk” discussions with 1Ls, 2Ls, 3Ls, LLMs, and recent graduates. The event will be hosted on our virtual event platform, Pathable.

Prescheduled Interviews: Those employers interested in interviewing candidates for specific positions will post their jobs on our career fair database in advance of the event and will pre-select which candidates they would like to speak with during the career fair.

Table Talk-Only Opportunities: Those employers who are interested in participating in the event, but do not necessarily have any current job openings, are welcome to attend as a “Table Talk-Only” employer and speak with law students on a more informal first-come, first-served basis.

Key dates to keep in mind:

  • Deadline for Posting Jobs
Employers must post positions for prescheduled interviews by Tuesday, August 31 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Students will have until Monday, September 13 to apply for prescheduled interviews.
  • Application Review & Interview Selections
Employers must submit their interview selections and alternates by Thursday, September 23 at 11:59 p.m. ET (step-by-step guide available here).
